Give Locally

This was started from an @valleyartsnewsletter instagram post about giving locally. It was posted here to make it easier to follow links to these local organizations. Give what you can to help. Support local ♥

from the 6/17/20 instagram post: hi friends, i was inspired to make this list by Jason's video at @attackbearpress (and because i love to make lists). His point is that giving to national organizations is good but there are so many local nonprofit organizations that assist BIPOC that need your support. Our neighbors, our community right here needs support. Give local and buy local whenever you can. Donate to them, follow their pages, boost their reach. this list includes nonprofit orgs in the valley that deal with racism, social justice, immigrant protection, food insecurity, education, and more - many issues that disproportionally affect BIPOC communities. Also art/culture orgs that support BIPOC artists and communities.

This list is being expanded to include any arts non-profits in the valley. It's a work in progress. Feel free to email me to add to this list.
