His point is that giving to national organizations is good but there are so many local nonprofit organizations that assist BIPOC that need your support. Our neighbors, our community right here need support. Give local and buy local whenever you can. Donate to them, follow them, boost their reach. This list includes nonprofit orgs in the valley that deal with racism, social justice, immigrant protection, food insecurity, education, healthcare, and more - many issues that disproportionally affect BIPOC communities. Also art/culture orgs that are run by and/or directly support BIPOC artists and communities.
